MARK&COMPANY Inc. (“the Company”) values your information and strictly complies with personal information protection laws, including the “Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc.” and the “Personal Information Protection Act.” The Company has established and observes the following Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy may be amended in the event of changes to laws related to personal information or due to changes in the Company’s policies. We ask that you check this Privacy Policy from time to time when visiting the sites provided by the Company.

1. Purposes of Processing Personal Information

The Company provides a procedure that allows users to click the “I Agree” button regarding the membership terms and the collection and use of personal information when signing up. Clicking the “I Agree” button is deemed consent to the collection and use of personal information. The Company processes personal information for the following purposes and does not use it for any purpose other than those listed below.

• To manage membership, including confirming intent to register, identifying users, and confirming intent to withdraw membership.
• In addition to providing existing services such as content (including advertising), to discover new service elements and improve existing services — for example, demographic analysis, analysis of service visits and usage records, formation of relationships between users based on personal information and interests, and provision of customized services based on acquaintances and interests.
• To protect users and operate services — for example, restricting the use of services by members who violate laws or the InnoForest Terms of Service; preventing and sanctioning acts that interfere with the smooth operation of services, including fraudulent use; preventing account theft and fraudulent transactions; delivering notices such as amendments to terms; retaining records for dispute resolution; and handling complaints.
• For identity verification, purchases and payment of fees, and the provision of goods and services in connection with the provision of paid subscription services.
• For marketing and promotional purposes, such as providing event information and participation opportunities and providing advertising information.
• To analyze service usage records and access frequency, compile statistics on service use, provide customized services based on service analysis and statistics, and place advertisements.
• To build a service environment that users can use with confidence in terms of security, privacy, and safety.

2. Processing and Retention Period of Personal Information

The Company processes and retains personal information within the retention and use period consented to by the data subject at the time of collection, or within the retention and use period prescribed by law. A customer’s personal information is destroyed without delay when the purpose of collection and use is achieved (such as upon withdrawal of membership) or upon request to withdraw consent. However, where it is necessary to retain information for a certain period for reasons such as confirming rights and obligations related to transactions under relevant laws, including the “Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.,” such information is retained for that period as follows.

• Records on contracts or withdrawal of subscription: 5 years
• Records on payment and supply of goods, etc.: 5 years
• Records on consumer complaints or dispute resolution: 3 years

Article 15 of the “Protection of Communications Secrets Act”

• Records on visits (logs): 1 year

The Company’s method of destroying personal information under other relevant laws is as follows.
